A nun is sitting with her Mother Superior chatting. ”I used some\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>horrible language this week and feel absolutely terrible about it.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>When did you use this awful language?” asks the elder.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Well, I was golfing and hit an incredible drive that looked like it was\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>going to go over 280 yards, but it struck a phone line that was hanging\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>over the fairway and fell straight down to the ground after going only\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>about 100 yards.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>”Is that when you swore?”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>”No, Mother,” says the nun. ”After that, a squirrel ran out of the\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>bushes and grabbed my ball in its mouth and began to run away.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>”Is THAT when you swore?” asked the Mother Superior again.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>”Well, no.” says the nun. ”You see, as the squirrel was running, an\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>eagle came down out of the sky, grabbed the squirrel in his talons and began<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>to fly away!”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>”Is THAT when you swore?” asked the amazed elder nun.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>”No, not yet. As the eagle carried the squirrel away in its claws, it\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>flew near the green and the squirrel dropped my ball.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>”Did you swear THEN?” asked Mother Superior, becoming impatient.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>”No, because the ball fell on a big rock, bounced over the sand trap<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>rolled onto the green, and stopped about six inches from the hole.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>The two nuns were silent for a moment. Then Mother Superior sighed and\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>said, ”You missed the fucking putt, didn’t you?”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
