THE BOTTLE OF WINE<\/strong><\/p>\n

For all of us who are married, were married, wish
\nyou were married, or wish you weren’t married, this
\nis something to smile about the next time you see a
\nbottle of wine:<\/p>\n

Sally was driving home from one of her business
\ntrips in Northern Arizona when she saw an elderly
\nNavajo woman walking on the side of the road.<\/p>\n

As the trip was a long and quiet one, she stopped
\nthe car and asked the Navajo woman if she would like
\na ride.<\/p>\n

With a silent nod of thanks, the woman got into
\nthe car.<\/p>\n

Resuming the journey, Sally tried in vain to make
\na bit of small talk with the Navajo woman. The old
\nwoman just sat silently, looking intently at
\neverything she saw, studying every little detail,
\nuntil she noticed a brown bag on the seat next to
\nSally.<\/p>\n

’What in bag?’, asked the old woman.<\/p>\n

Sally looked down at the brown bag and said, ’It’s
\na bottle of wine. I got it for my husband.’<\/p>\n

The Navajo woman was silent for another moment or
\ntwo. Then speaking with the quiet wisdom of an elder,
\nshe said:<\/p>\n

’Good trade…..’\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
